Francesco Nonnoi was born in 1961 in Cagliari (Italy). He studied classics and he started to work, at the age of 22, as a freelance photographer for local newspaper. He travelled with his camera through many countries such as Australia, Antarctica, South America, Europe, India, Palestine and Iceland.
His works have been pubblished by National Geographic (cover august 2010), Emergency (cover October 2011), Vanity Fair, Panorama, L'Espresso, Oggi, Sportweek, Yacht Capital, Yacht Digest, Gente, Bell'Italia and many other international magazines.
Aerial and Sailing photography are one of his specialities.
He has covered with his camera many international regattas such as the America's cup, Louis Vuitton trophy, Rolex Maxi Yacht, Rolex Swan, Melges, Tp 52, RC 44, J70 and the most important sailing event in Porto Cervo, Porto Rotondo and Cagliari. He has been working for Azzurra, Artemis.
He has worked for international companies such as Starwood hotels Costa Smeralda, Audi, Gocil, Yacht Club Costa Smeralda, Cict, Azimut yacht, Moby Lines, Yacht Club Porto Rotondo, Yacht Club Cagliari, Piaget, P&G, Cantieri Costa Smeralda, Geasar aereoporti Olbia, Iti hotels, Richard Mille Watch, Omega Tourbillion, Castiglion del Bosco and Lomar marine.
